⚖️ Justice for Rajkumar Jat: A Voice That Must Not Fade

"He dreamt of serving the nation. He died before the nation could serve him justice."

🧠 Who Was Rajkumar Jat?

Rajkumar Jat was not a politician, a celebrity, or a criminal. He was a 25-year-old UPSC aspirant from Bhilwara, Rajasthan—an ordinary young man with an extraordinary dream: to crack one of India’s toughest exams and become a civil servant. He was intelligent, kind, and committed. His family, especially his father and sister, supported his aspirations with hope and pride.

But all those dreams were shattered on a single tragic day.

🛵 The Last Ride with His Father

On March 2, 2025, Rajkumar was riding a bike with his father when they were stopped by Ganesh Jadeja, the son of ex-MLA Jayrajsinh Jadeja near Rajkot, Gujarat.

Why were they stopped? Allegedly for "overspeeding."
What followed? A brutal altercation.

Eyewitnesses claim that Rajkumar was beaten mercilessly by Jadeja’s men. His father was also assaulted. Rajkumar vanished shortly after the incident.

🕯 A Week of Silence. Then, a Body.

For days, the family searched, pleaded, and begged the authorities to act. But Rajkumar remained missing—until March 9, when his body was found near Targhadiya Bridge, bruised and lifeless.

It took the police 24 hours to identify him, and the circumstances of his death were immediately deemed suspicious. Yet, no swift arrests were made.

📹 The CCTV Controversy

One of the most alarming aspects of this case is the CCTV footage. The police released only 2 minutes of video showing Rajkumar talking to Ganesh Jadeja. The rest of the footage, which might hold key evidence of what truly happened, is still withheld.

Why? That’s the question the nation is asking.

👩‍👧 A Sister’s Cry for Justice

In an emotional video, Rajkumar’s sister Pooja Jat demanded a CBI investigation, questioning why agencies like the Intelligence Bureau (IB) weren’t stepping in. Her voice shook with anger and grief as she accused the police of shielding the powerful and silencing the weak.

She wasn’t alone.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 A Movement Begins

Social media erupted. Hashtags like #JusticeForRajkumarJat and #CBIForRajkumar began trending. Students, civil service aspirants, activists, and the Jat community united to demand a fair and transparent probe.

Even political leaders, including Bhilwara’s MP, echoed these calls in Parliament and media.

⚖️ Where Is the Case Now?

  • A formal CBI probe is still being demanded.

  • The Jadeja family has not been held accountable in any meaningful way.

  • Public trust in local law enforcement has plummeted.

As of now, the case lingers in silence—much like the justice that Rajkumar was denied.

🕊 Why This Case Matters

Rajkumar could have been any of us.
A student with dreams.
A son riding with his father.
An Indian citizen who trusted the system to protect him.

If power, privilege, and silence are allowed to bury truth in this case, what hope do ordinary citizens have?

📢 Your Voice Can Help

  • Demand transparency.

  • Support independent investigations.

His dream was to serve India.
Now, it's India’s turn to serve justice.

Tracing the Roots of Anesthesia: From Sushruta to Modern India

One of the most important turning points in medical history was the creation of anesthesia. It made surgery a precise and compassionate science instead of a cruel and agonising experience. Key events like the first public demonstration of ether anesthesia in the United States in 1846 are part of the well-documented history of anesthesia worldwide. But the story of India's role in anesthesia, both historically and currently, is complex and frequently overlooked. With a focus on Indian heritage, development, and contributions, this essay examines the history of anesthesia.

120.1) Ancient Indian Origins: Sushruta and Early Concepts of Anesthesia

The Sushruta Samhita, an old Sanskrit book on medicine and surgery that dates to about 600 BCE, is where India first experimented with anaesthesia. Often referred to as the "Father of Surgery," Sushruta explained intricate surgical techniques, including how to control pain. The use of wine (madya) as a sedative and pain reliever is well documented, even if he did not employ anaesthesia in the contemporary pharmacological sense. In order to reduce discomfort during surgery, patients were frequently forced to consume herbal mixtures diluted with wine or cannabis.

Even though they were primitive, these early sedative techniques show how the Indians understood the importance of pain management during surgery. Sushruta also placed a strong emphasis on post-operative care, hygiene, and patient comfort—elements that would later form the basis of contemporary anesthesiology.

120.2) Colonial Influence and the Introduction of Modern Anesthesia in India

Modern anaesthesia techniques were brought forth by the entrance of Western medicine during the British colonial era. Only a year after its initial use in Boston, ether anaesthesia was first used in India in Calcutta (now Kolkata) in 1847. A British doctor in Calcutta named Dr. O'Shaughnessy was instrumental in bringing ether and chloroform anaesthesia knowledge to India.

Chloroform use in Indian hospitals increased by the late 19th and early 20th centuries, especially in important cities like Calcutta, Madras (Chennai), and Bombay (Mumbai). Anesthesiology was not yet a separate medical specialty, though. Usually, nurses, untrained helpers, or surgeons themselves would give anesthesia.

120.3) Post-Independence Growth and Institutionalization

Following India's independence in 1947, the country's anesthesia scene started to undergo substantial transformation. As surgical procedures increased and medical technology advanced, the demand for specialised anesthesiologists grew more apparent.

An important turning point in the professionalisation of anesthesia in India was the founding of the Indian Society of Anesthetists in 1949 (now known as the Indian Society of Anesthesiologists, or ISA).

Over time, medical schools all over India started providing specialised anesthesiology training. The MD and DNB (Diplomate of National Board) programs were introduced after the first postgraduate diploma (DA) in anesthesia.

The Journal of Anesthesiology Clinical Pharmacology and other scholarly forums were established to aid in research and knowledge exchange among Indian physicians.

120.4) Technological and Educational Advances

In India, anaesthetic methods, monitoring equipment, and safety procedures have advanced rapidly during the past few decades. Indian anaesthesiologists have moved from using basic face masks and ether drips to using cutting-edge tools like ventilators, multi-parameter monitors, and sophisticated regional blocks guided by ultrasound.

Beyond the conventional boundaries of the operating room, India has also achieved notable advancements in the fields of pain management, critical care, and palliative anesthesia. A number of Indian universities have emerged as premier hubs for anesthesiology education and research, notably CMC Vellore, PGIMER (Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research), and AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences).

120.5) Challenges and the Road Ahead

India still has particular difficulties in providing safe and affordable anesthesia, despite tremendous advancements:

120.5.1) There is still a scarcity of qualified anesthesiologists in rural and impoverished areas.

120.5.2) The public's knowledge of anesthesiologists' roles in critical care and surgery is lacking.

120.5.3) The safe use of contemporary anesthetic procedures is frequently hampered by infrastructure constraints in smaller facilities.

The Indian government and medical associations have implemented telemedicine-based support systems in remote areas and started training programs for non-physician anesthetists in order to solve these issues. International partnerships, research collaborations, and simulation-based training are likewise becoming more and more popular.

120.6) Conclusion

The history of anesthesia in India is an intriguing one, combining traditional knowledge with contemporary advancements. India has made a substantial contribution to the international anesthetic community with everything from the herbal sedatives of Sushruta to innovative methods in robotic surgery and pain management. Anesthesiology is in a position to become even more important as the country's healthcare system continues to be strengthened, guaranteeing millions of people safe, fair, and painless surgical care.

In addition to being a chronicle of medical advancement, India's history of anesthesia reflects the nation's changing views on science, human dignity, and healing.

India’s Second Astronaut, First on the ISS: Shubhanshu Shukla’s Historic Leap into Space

In a moment that rekindled the dreams of a billion hearts, Group Captain Shubhranshu Shukla etched his name into history as the first Indian astronaut to board the International Space Station (ISS). His journey aboard the Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4), launched on June 25, 2025, marked India’s triumphant return to human spaceflight after 41 years, following in the footsteps of Rakesh Sharma’s legendary 1984 mission.

A Launch Rooted in Legacy:

The Ax-4 mission lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida—the same hallowed ground that once launched Apollo 11. Shukla, a decorated Indian Air Force test pilot and ISRO astronaut, was joined by mission commander Peggy Whitson, and fellow astronauts Tibor Kapu of Hungary and Sławosz Uznanski-Wiśniewski of Poland.

After a 28-hour journey aboard the SpaceX Dragon capsule, the crew successfully docked with the ISS on June 26 at 4:03 PM IST, completing a flawless orbital rendezvous.

A Nation’s Pride in Orbit:

As Shukla floated into the ISS, he became astronaut number 634, a title bestowed upon him by Whitson. In his first message from space, he said, “It has been a wonderful ride… Whatever expectations I had before coming here were surpassed by the view, of course — that’s a big part of it — but you guys as well. So, thank you so much”.

He later addressed the nation in Hindi, saying, “Thanks to your love and blessings, I safely reached the International Space Station… This is the first step on this journey. We will conduct many experiments and make India proud”.

The Man Behind the Mission:

Born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Shukla is a graduate of the National Defence Academy and a seasoned test pilot with over 2,000 hours of flying experience across multiple aircraft, including the Su-30 MKI and MiG-29.

Selected in 2019 as part of ISRO’s first Vyomanaut group, he underwent rigorous training in Russia and India before being chosen for this landmark mission.

Science, Symbolism, and the Future:

During their 14-day stay aboard the ISS, the Ax-4 crew will conduct over 60 scientific experiments, including several proposed by Indian researchers. These range from microgravity effects on human physiology and nutrition to seed germination in space.

Shukla will also participate in outreach programs, including a live interaction with students back on Earth.

This mission, born from a 2023 Indo-US space cooperation agreement, is not just a scientific endeavor—it’s a symbol of India’s growing stature in global space exploration.

A Family’s Joy, A Nation’s Celebration:

Back home, Shukla’s family watched with pride and emotion. His mother, Asha Shukla, was seen wiping away tears of joy, while his father, Shambhu Dayal Shukla, said, “God has truly blessed our son. Our entire family is filled with immense happiness and thankfulness”.

A New Dawn:

Shubhranshu Shukla’s journey is more than a personal triumph—it’s a beacon for India’s space ambitions, a reminder that the stars are within reach. As he orbits Earth at 7.5 km per second, he carries with him the hopes, dreams, and pride of 1.4 billion Indians.

And somewhere, perhaps, a young child in a small town is now dreaming of space—not as a distant fantasy, but as a future within grasp.

RESULT OF 27 YEARS LONG PATIENCE

Credit- ICC

Just imagine that you are the person who always do any type of work in a very clean manner but when you get the chance to show yourself on the big stage you choke at that time .

Here I am talking about the cricket team of South Africa who has won it’s ICC title after long wait of 27 years . Last time when this team has won the ICC title was year of 1998 (Champions trophy ) in which the result of the game was decided on the basis of number of boundaries . South Africa had won the only ICC trophy till June 2025 .

The Proteas were always best team of the world . The team which always kept a distance from controversies as well as sledging . The players of Africa were always loved by every ICC members .They were only the team who has defeated every  country in their respective home ground but they were unable to won the trophy . They were called as CHOKERS because when they enter in an ICC event they always used to choke at the crucial events like semi-finals and finale . But they always remain in top 4 teams of the world .

Credit- ICC

The South African team reached into finale of ICC TEST CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2025  by their hard work and better luck . At a stage when South Africa needed 5 win in remaining 6 matches , under the captaincy of Temba Bavuma , the team won all the 6 matches with big margins and end the league matches as a table topper . The team faced the Australian team whose captain Pat Cummins, had never lost a finale of any ICC event . But this time was of South Africa and Bavuma. This time South Africans were playing with calm mind and with patience . The Australians were got frustrated on the 4th day of the test match when they felt that the match had been gone into the hands of Africa . This match was won by South Africa by 5 wickets . After winning the match the bavuma was crying and all the team mates were praising him . The Man of the match was Aiden Markram who made a beautiful century. During the league matches , maximum runs were made by Joe Root (England player) while Pat Cummins was the highest wicket taker …..

How tyres of EV are dangerous…..

AI Generated Image...

Just imagine when you are promoting something for the welfare of people and the same thing became dangerous for your people…

This thing has been happened with the government of India when in 2024 it had launched the electrical vehicle policy to curb the pollution caused by the vehicles run by the fossil fuels .

But in may 2025 a research paper by IIT Bombay,  Tata institute of fundamental research and University of Columbia (USA) published in the Royal Society of Chemistry shocked everyone . According to the research,  the electric vehicles on account of their greater weight experience higher wear and tear in their tyres as compared to conventional vehicles and release substantially larger number of plastic particles in the atmosphere.  This process happens due to rapid degradation and overweight of electric vehicles .

How the tyres are degraded?   Due to proper running , specially on the damaged road , there is rapid degradation of tyres . But new research also tells that the degradation also happens due to overweight.  Degradation of tyre results in release of small rubber particles that are air pollutants . The normal wear and tear of tyres produces particles of broadly two sizes ….

1.  1 to 10 micrometer

2.  100 micrometer

While the intermediate particles are released in very less amount.

The new research established the relationship between weight and speed of vehicle to size of plastic particles released from tyres as a result of wear and tear.

This research told that tyres of heavier and faster moving vehicles produce a higher proportion of  smaller particles . Unlike the larger particles that settle down on ground due to gravity , smaller particles remain suspended in air adding to concentration of air pollutants.  Particles of different sizes produced by different physical processes of degradation of tyres . Degradation is caused by sudden braking or encounter with potholes known as primary fragmentation results in release of mainly smaller particles of varying sizes .And gradual wear and tear , called as sequential fragmentation,  releases mainly large particles which shows that improvement of road is much needed.

Generally the electrical vehicle are 15 to 20 percent more heavier than fossil fuels vehicles because the weight of their batteries is in the range of 300kg to 900kg .And the EVs are more able to accelerate more rapidly , leading to additional stress on tyres due to increase in friction and heat generation which lead to increase in degree of primary fragmentation,  releasing larger amount of smaller plastic particles.

Road transport causes 10 percent of Global greenhouse emission which can be easily controlled by EVs .

The particles can cause various disease related to all the sensitive organs . Government must concentrate on this serious issue .

Current State of Indian Dams in 2025

India is the world's third-largest dam builder, with more than 6,300 big dams. These buildings are essential for flood control, hydropower, irrigation, and water supply. But as of 2025, the country is confronted with a variety of dam management issues, including safety issues, geopolitical conflicts, and hazards associated with climate change.

115.1) National Dam Safety and Rehabilitation Efforts

India has taken important steps in recognition of the vital need of dam safety, including:

1) The goal of the world's largest dam repair initiative, the Dam repair and Improvement Project (DRIP), is to improve the performance and safety of already-existing dams.

2) The 2021 Dam Safety Act: This act, which was passed in order to create a comprehensive framework for dam safety, gave rise to the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA), which is in charge of monitoring dam safety policies and procedures nationwide.

115.2) Regional Developments and Challenges

1) Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP) in Arunachal Pradesh

China's upstream dam construction on the Yarlung Tsangpo River is intended to be countered by the proposed 11,000 MW SUMP. The project has generated a lot of opposition and protests, even though over 70% of the local populace supports it because of its strategic and energy benefits.

2) Karnataka: Upkeep of the Tungabhadra Dam

The Tungabhadra reservoir's storage capacity has been temporarily restricted to 80 TMCFT due to safety concerns. With plans to repair more gates over the next 15 months, this reduction makes it easier to replace a compromised Crest gate.

3) Maharashtra: Pune's Preparedness for Floods

Authorities in Pune are getting ready for possible water releases from the Khadakwasla dam as a result of the early monsoon season. Plans for evacuation are in place to safeguard residents and current infrastructure projects in flood-prone locations, such as Ektanagari, which saw severe floods in 2024.

4) Gujarat: Project for Ajwa Reservoir Barrage

A new barrage is planned downstream of the Ajwa reservoir to reduce urban flooding in Vadodara. The project is expected to start after the monsoon season and is predicted to cost ₹100 crore. Its goal is to control the surplus water flow into the Vishwamitri river.

5) Odisha: All-inclusive Flood Control

For the monsoon season of 2025, the Water Resources Department of Odisha has started a thorough flood preparedness strategy. Public safety measures include embankment inspections, emergency resource mobilisation, and round-the-clock control rooms.

115.3) Geopolitical Implications: Indus Water Treaty Suspension

In April 2025, India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan in retaliation to a terrible incident in Pahalgam. India then started improving its ability to store and regulate water on rivers such as the Chenab and Jhelum, which has caused Pakistan to worry about possible water shortages.

115.4) Conclusion

At this crucial point, India's dams must strike a balance between the needs of environmental sustainability, safety, and development. The nation's dedication to tackling these issues is demonstrated by ongoing restoration projects, legislative actions, and regional efforts. Nonetheless, the nation's dam operations require ongoing attention and flexible management due to geopolitical concerns and climate variability.

Born in Karnataka, Banu Mushtaq has been a fierce literary voice advocating for women’s rights and social justice. Her works, primarily written in Kannada, explore themes of identity, resistance, and storytelling as a means of empowerment.

Mushtaq’s journey to the International Booker Prize was filled with challenges. As a writer working in a regional language, breaking into the global literary scene was difficult. However, her dedication and the universal appeal of her narratives garnered attention beyond borders. The translation of Heart Lamp into English by Deepa Bhasthi played a crucial role in making Mushtaq’s work accessible to a worldwide audience.

The Significance of Heart Lamp:

Heart Lamp is not just a novel—it is a reflection of the lives of women navigating societal constraints, dreams, and resistance against oppression. Through its powerful prose, the book explores:

Women’s struggles and empowerment: Mushtaq’s characters reflect the real challenges faced by women in patriarchal societies, offering a voice to the voiceless.

Identity and resilience: The novel intricately delves into themes of identity, self-discovery, and survival.

Cultural and historical depth: Grounded in Kannada traditions, Heart Lamp presents a rich tapestry of emotions and experiences that resonate universally.

Encouraged translations of Indian regional texts, making diverse narratives more accessible to international audiences.

Opened doors for future Kannada writers to aspire for global literary success.

The recognition of Heart Lamp also sends a strong message—literature has the power to bridge cultures, bring unheard voices to the forefront, and challenge existing narratives.

Conclusion:

Banu Mushtaq’s International Booker Prize win is more than an individual achievement; it is a collective victory for Kannada literature, regional languages, and the power of storytelling. Her success reaffirms literature’s ability to break barriers, inspire change, and touch lives across the world.

As Heart Lamp continues to captivate readers globally, Mushtaq’s legacy grows stronger, reminding us that stories—especially those that speak truth and advocate for justice—will always find their way into the hearts of people, regardless of language or geography.

Last day of retaliation of Pahalgam attack and ceasefire

Hello everyone, in the last post, my teammate discussed the retaliation of the Pahalgam attack and the equipment used by Bharat to defend itself. Now I will proceed further from where my teammate has left the article.

On the midnight of 9th and 10th May 2025, the Pakistan Airforce started sending the explosive Songar drones of Turkey. ( It was the retaliation by Pakistan to the drones which were sent by the Indian air force during the day. The Indian drones have destroyed many places in Pakistan, including the stadium of Rawalpindi, due to which the game of the Pakistan Super League has been suspended. The Turkish drones are very dangerous during the proxy war as well as fighting with any nation, but the 3 to 4 level security of the Indian air force retaliated against all of them very successfully at a rate of 99 to 100.  This was the first time the world had seen the defense power of Bharat. When all the drones were wrecked, the Indian Air Force, with its fighter jets like Sukhoi MK and Rafale, using the supersonic cruise missile, destroyed about 10 bases of the Pakistan army and Air force. This was very huge blow to Pakistan because its Noor Khan base and Rawalpindi base are very important bases for their defense. The base near Kirana hills containing Nukes was also disturbed, due to which leakage has started. It was also reported that Pakistan has used its intercontinental ballistic missile Fateh 2  with Delhi as a target. But it was intercepted successfully near the Amritsar base of Bharat.

This work was being done in front of the world, but behind the scenes, a new script was already being written for the future of this war. At 2 pm on 11 May, the Indian government announced that any attack on the citizens of India by Pakistan would be considered as an act of war.

On May 11, the new CHAUDHARY of the World, Donald Trump, at 3:20 pm, announced that he had successfully brokered a ceasefire between the two nuclear-capable nations. He said that ministers of both nations have demanded that he do so. At 5 pm, the Foreign Secretary of Bharat announced that a ceasefire has been declared between the two nations. Later the Director General of Military Operations of Air force , Navy and Indian army gave briefing about the war that how Indian armed forces were successful in their mission . They gave the proof of all the retaliation done by Indian force. They gave description about mainly the attack of 9th may on 11th of may but on the 12th may They gave overall briefing of all the days . One special thing about the briefing of 11th may was that it was started with SHIVA TANDAVA STROTAM . Air marshal A K Bharti was leading the whole mission of the air force . So he was also the main spokesperson during the press briefing. A reporter asked him about the casualties of the ammunition of Pakistani forces . He with a slight smile answered that our work is to get them down and their work is to count the casualties.  Rear Admiral of navy AN Pramod, told that navy was in full mood to attack on ports of Pakistan but ceasefire stopped them.  But he said that navy was an important part of this mission also.

The briefing of 12th may was started with YACHNA NAHI AB RANN HOGA BY Shri Ramdhari Singh Dinkar ji .

On 12th May the press briefings of DGMOs were done in the New Delhi.  This briefing was started by Lieutenant General Shri Rajiv Ghai . He told that The jawans of the Border security force were very actively retaliated the opposition forces . He gave a popular statement used by the Australian Cricket team during 1970s and 1980s . He gave a statement regarding the strong defense system of the Indian Armed Forces . He said that if  anyone doubts on our forces one thing about the operation I want to say that it was a 3 to 4 layer security that no weapon of enemy can remain safe . He also said that Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if Thommo don’t get ya, Lillie must.”. He want to explain that if you would cross one security level then another is waiting for you. When reporters asked about the strategy for next war then Shri Bharti said that our bases are working very smoothly and we are always ready for the war . On the aggressive nature of the songs played . Bharti ji gave answer by using a DOHA of Shri ramcharitmanas  . He said that …

He said that without aggression nothing can be achieved.

On 12th May , at 8 PM , Shri Narendra Modi the honorable prime minister has released a video about praising the Indian army and support of all the Indians . He said that the way of peace goes from the way of strength and aggression.  Without these two things the peace is not possible . He also warned to Pakistan that “ talk and terror cannot go together , terror and trade cannot go together , water and blood cannot flow together .The talk to Pakistan will only be done on the topic of POK only .
