One of the most influential tribal leaders and top maoist commander, head of Dandakaranya special zone committee, Madvi Hidma, was killed by an operation by central police force and Andhra pradesh police. He was about to escape to Chhattisgarh. He was killed with his wife Madakkam Raje (member of Chhattisgarh state zonal committee) and his four other peoples ( Deve , lakmal , malla and kamlu). He was the leader of South bastar battalion commandant of banned CPI(M). He was killed near Nelluru village in Maredumullu Agency of Andhra Pradesh. With their dead bodies, 2 AK-47, 15 electrical and 150 non-electrical detonators and some other dangerous weapons have been recovered. Our home minister, Shree Amit Shah, has given a deadline to kill Hidma by 30th November 2025. He was killed 12 days before(18 November) deadline. Hidma was the youngest member of the central committee and the only tribal leader from Bastar to be inducted in the central committee. He also led a battalion of people's liberation guerilla army. He was the top leader after the killing of Basavraju (in May 2025). The Police of various states have kept a reward of 1.80 crore on him. He has participated in 26 Major attacks of naxalites like CRPF attack in 2010 (where 76 jawans were killed) in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, Jhiram Ghati Ambush of 2013 where top congress leaders like Mahendra Karma, Nand Kumar Patel and Vidya charan shukla were killed.
Security forces were unable to kill him
because he was the only person who had three layers of security. And heknwew
very well that due to poor connection, he was non traceable.
Initially, police personnels offered him
to surrender. But when he refused, the police forced his mother to give him a
message to surrender. Hidma didn't
surrender and he was killed very badly. According to some police personnel,
there were only 47 bullets in his Rifle.
It means that he was unable to fight for a long time.
Hidma was killed under operation KAGAR
which has been launched by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The deadline to
demolish naxalite from India is on 31st March 2025.
In 2004, there were 42 central committee
members but now only 12 members are remaining. The expansion of naxalite has
been limited to 11 districts of India only. This shows how much our
government and police personnel are serious about eradication of
naxalite.
