Blind women world cup 2025

When we were busy on social media, watching the various issues of the world, at that time our visually impaired women won their first title of world cup in T20 internationals format by defeating Nepal by 5 wickets. This was the first T20 world cup organised by World Blind Cricket (WBC). In India its apex body is Cricket Association of Blind I'm India (CABI). CABI is the cricketing arm of Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled which governs cricket for the blind in India.

This first world cup for women was hosted by India and Sri Lanka and its final was held in New Oval Ground of Colombo.  The world cup for visually impaired men was started in 2012 and Indian men are three times winner also. But due to gender discrimination and problems I'm funding, the women's world cup was not organised by WBC.

In this world cup seven countries have participated which are  Australia, Bharat, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and South Africa. The Indian team was led by Deepika TC.

According to WHO and UN, India is home to 20% of visually impaired persons in the world. This world cup is totally dedicated to those people who want to show their talents in the emerging world. But due to shackles and ignorance provided by our society they are unable to do so. This world cup winning team has motivated every person that anything can be achieved by making huge efforts.

The visually impaired people in our Society are generally ignored and their main occupation is considered as begging.  But if we motivate them , they will definitely share their problems with us.  And they can also make their contribution to empower our Bharat.
